Parrot DISCO - use CHUCK on other frame type - normal plane (use aeleron, rudder, height)
The battery connection is actually FEMALE on the battery not male, the male is in the CHUCK. No battery connector should be male , this makes it prone to short circuits. You maybe thinking it’s male beacuse you push it inside the CHUCK connection, but it’s the brass insert that denotes wether... -

Has anyone removed their C.H.U.C.K and replaced it with other equipment in order to fly with a bit more control and authority? Have any of you that fly Discos received a forced firmware update for SkyController 2 to 1.0.9 ?
I totally agree with you, we should not be forced into software updates. Did you find your disco? did you place your contact number and CAA op id inside? I’m now concerned about mine, I use 18650-3000mh batteries, it could fly for miles! And miles...and miles! chaz -

SkyController 2 will not update!
The only problem I have with updates is why do we need to do them? If everything worked why try to break it?! Yes there are various reasons you could use for an update, such as geofencing or bugs that weren’t originally detected, but, if your disco is perfectly happy in your envoirment, why...
