    Sky Controller 3 Maintainance

No. It doesn't know if the gimbal is a little off or if you're holding a tiny bit of pressure like when you're doing something "cinematic." I discovered it near the ground. I was fiddling with a mission on screen with the aircraft hovering at about 2 meters. I realized it was drifting down...

    Sky Controller 3 Maintainance

I had a controller that that drifted in the Y (altitude) direction. It was really irritating. Teardown showed me that they used the cheapest of the cheap board mount gimbals. For me it wasn't worth fixing. You can't get to the springs or anything so it would be remove and replace using a hot air...

    Can't update

From back to front or bottom to top, I investigated the gimbals and was disappointed that they were run of the mill cheapie game controller style. The only path to repair there would be remove and replace. I have a hot air rework station and have become adept at R&R but decided not to do it. I...

    Can't update

BRC! You are the Anafi whisperer! I just tried again and it updated!!!! Kidding aside I suspect they fixed some small glitch as I read several accounts of the same behavior. However, if not for you it would have sat in the box so thank you!

    Can't update

Thanks BRC, Parrot first said, ""Kindly drain the battery of the controller, recharge it again and then update it using the application and finally calibrate it."" When that did not work they said, ""I am sorry to hear about the update issue with your controller. Kindly note that you just need...

    Can't update

I have a controller that will not accept an update. I tried everything I could think of and have had a conversation with support which was no help at all. I tried catching the battery at every state of charge imaginable. I tried updating from 3 different android devices with different OS and 2...

    New FF6 version

I didn't say "odd." If i were to add a modifier I guess it would be "unfortunate." In an attempt to preserve battery health they have set self discharge so high that you need to charge right before flying. This makes Anafi useless as a travel drone as much as I love them. I'd even be content...

    New FF6 version

*sigh* If only they would fix the battery thing. I really miss Anafi as my travel drone.

    Update for FF6-6.7.1 & Firmware V 1.7.6

Which makes perfect sense. There must be a reason they no longer shut motors down on that condition. One reason I can think of is keeping the stack up gives you a better chance of finding it with GPS and/or radio.

    Update for FF6-6.7.1 & Firmware V 1.7.6

I hand catch and flip to disable motors. This firmware doesn’t like it. I get a warning and motor beeps. I have to power cycle to clear it. Kind of a bummer. I guess I’ll learn some other way.

Anafi vs Mavic Air 2 range test

Gee, 2 years later and this is all the improvement we see? Every other part of the multirotor world is advancing so rapidly and flying cameras seem to be stuck in the past with little performance improvement. A lot of Anafi owners probably feel good about their purchase decision after this. I...

    New firmware update Anafi 1.6.7

Thanks Rocky. That's kind of where I was getting to. Not sure if it will let me but I'll charge up and see.

    New firmware update Anafi 1.6.7

So I was travelling with none of my Anafis when the update that included battery firmware rolled through. I have seen conflicting reports so didn't go for it since I wasn't flying when I got home. My question is do I now do the latest craft and controller firmware update but leave the batteries...

Return to location for multiple battery time lapse

Hmmm..600 seconds should just about do it. Good idea. Thanks.

Return to location for multiple battery time lapse

Does anyone know of a way to save a fixed waypoint with gimbal tilt and everything? I want to do a long time lapse. This is something we've had in Ardupilot for years but I don't know how with Anafi. Thanks!
