    Parrot Anafi Indoor Flying experience

As far as I know they are Oil tanks that are roughly 13.5m width by 20m tall. It is definitely fixed roof. You are probably thinking of the huge industrial oil tanks spanning some 100m across that rise up and down? Based in Guernsey as well so I am not sure on what regulations apply. Thank you...

    Parrot Anafi Indoor Flying experience

If you can get scaffolding and everything else in there I don't see an issue with getting lights (spotlights/ flood lights for that matter) in there as well. I have no doubt the anafi or any other drone for that matter wouldnt be able to do the job without an external lighting source (unless...

    Parrot Anafi Indoor Flying experience

Hi, I may be required to fly indoors (in a large oil tank for inspections), what experience does anyone have with flying indoors? From a risk mitigation standpoint , I know the Anafi requires a little too much reliance on the GPS but from flying inside my house, it seems to just disable...

    Picture Sharpness

I'll try 1/200 and 1/500 tonight and see how that turns out. I only thought I needed a ND filter because my experience at 1/500 before wasn't great but there may have been other factors at play. Thanks for the help guys

    Picture Sharpness

Hi All, One thing I have noticed about the picture quality on the Anafi is that it doesn't appear to be that sharp? I have attached a few images below to demonstrate this, but would like to know what everyone's experiences of this is and how I can improve it. Settings I usually use: 100 ISO...

    Battery insulation

I'm not too worried about experiencing low flying temperatures really in Guernsey, though the wind chill would be something to take due care of. I'd really like to fly some times in the Alps/ mountainous areas so that would be where my main concern would be! The pocket method is something I...

    Battery insulation

Does anyone know or have had any experience with insulating a battery with foil (or anything reflective, tin foil would very likely cause interference) in cold weather? Silver inside and black outside

    Frustrating

short of loosening the mounting, I dont think thats possible and that would likely make the situation worse I suspect. I've left the casings off, attached rubber bands (induction tape wasn't staying down) to keep the connections secured. Ordered another drone and will compare video feeds to see...

    Frustrating

The L bracket is the metal structure holding the camera out off of the drone body. you can see in the below image it is a little bend (inwards)

Ok pushed with a bit more force and its working again. Any solutions for the L bracket issue?

    Frustrating

I've tried to use tiny amount of super glue to keep it down, which does the trick but the camera doesnt move, so clearly the pins aren't lining up or something else is going wrong. I dont want to proceed again before it gets even worse
