Yesterday took the drone out for a flight, this morning I checked the date stamp and all was correct. I dont understand how it could reset its self after months of being wrong...I have done nothing different.

Funny thing happened today, I flew my drone last night and this morning when I checked the date stamp they were correct. How strange is that. Ihavn't done anything different so what has re set the clock.

Hello Everone I got a reply back from Parrot support (one of many) but their conclusion aboutthe date stamp being wrong relates to quote from Parrot support " the investigation team are suspecting that a defective GPS chip is the reason behind your current issue, to be sure of this the unit...

Thanks for thereply it dodsnt worry me but if I were a military investor in Parrot drones I would be very worried. Funny thing is videos viewed with VLC show the correct date its only in windows file properties that it shows up. Mineseems to be stuck at december 30th 1979 and nothing will change it.

too true, no problems since selotape fix. to be honest its not the best design.

Mine did the same I put a square of Clear selotapeover the top of the SD card holder after making sure the card holder was locked. Not had a problem since. My videos were getting broken up since the tape no problem.

No I had a good read of the manual as well. I got that very eary on in my investigation from another thread with a similar problem. The SD cards are formated by the Parrot Anafi as FAT 32 but have a Linux Boot sector on them which I am presuming is where the false date is coming from. But I have...

OK I seem to be getting close to a solution, seems that the drone is not formating the SD Card correctly which is resulting in this date creation error. The card is formated FAT32 by the drone but for some reason it formats it with this date error. I am going to re-format the cards Again and see...

Hi I tried bot methods with no sucess date still the same in 1979. Hmmmm dont know whats going on at all. It dosnt seem to affect the drone its just anoying that something so fundamental is screwed up.

Does the Parrot Anafi have the same battery located in the same place? I had a look and cant see a battery. My problem is that the Date stamp on the videos and Pictures properties is December 30th 1979.
