Did DJI charge you $200 for the repair? I crashed my mavic and wrecked the gimbal ribbon cable, which I bought online for $15 and fixed in two hours. DJI is a real rip-off.

Anafi is cheaper (549 rather than 799), it has zoom, longer flight time. The Air is better quality and has obstacle avoidance.

The Anafi's price is finally coming down to a reasonable level. They must not be selling well compared to the Evo and Mavic.

A $700 drone should not do this. Send it back. I am finding the Anafi to be increasingly unreliable and buggy. If I were you, I would replace it with an Autel Evo. It is an amazing quad, almost zero issues with it.

I would go for the Anafi if that is what you really want. It is a pretty good drone for the money. Another good option is the Autel Evo drone, which I consider to be a lot better quality and has a lot more features. However, you get what you pay for. If you have the budget, I would go for the Evo.
