    I bought this range extender but I was unable to configure it to use with Mambo. This extender is used with Tello and it works well. I was doubtful that it can not be used with Mambo; any experience?

    Downloaded few hours ago, for my Huawei P Smart Plus. Maybe the screen time out issue has been solved. I connected my mambo and after flying 5m the display remained on. I only had to set my flypad commands

    Using the app with most Huawei, once the drone is connected and flying the screen turn off after few seconds. (the time out set of the phone I suppose). With IPhone Freeflight Mini, works well and this issue does not occur

    Yes, I supposed the cam is only 2.4ghz, but I think that from device to device there is difference in wifi range.

    What advantages from your 5ghz cam? more range and better image quality ore both? I see pic of your receiver, can you record video with your configuration?

    This fw is on Parrot Site from few months. The file is named "rollingspider_update"....strange name for a Mambo update. Anyone knows what is different from previous version?

    Mambo FPV range issue

    Is well known that using Mambo with FPV camera its operational range decreases drastically. I would like to know if it depends on the type of smartphone used and if a dual band wifi phone could make a difference.
