Hi everybody, from Oxford U.K. Flown mini drones, Hubsan X4etc, for fun. Main interest is photography: My need is for a 'camera that flies'. After long deliberation I decided on the Anafi - which arrives tomorrow!

All advice gratefully received; then ignored! :rolleyes: Just got the chance to buy at a 'decent price'. Just have to accept the risk... Downloaded current version of user manual. But - any suggestions as to what I should do first? Both for general check of kit, hardware/software/firmware...

We all have 'bad days'! I would accept 'knee jerk reaction' but for the fact that the govt. have been throwing money at people to 'prove' how potentially hazardous drones/UAVs are!

I use these for all my cameras now. Never had a problem.

I've seen some 'refurbished' or 'damaged packaging' Anafis on Amazon, approx £70 cheaper than lowest full price. Will check warranty conditions on those. I would be VERY cautious near/over water!
