Sounds like the CAT is not the most stable phone ever. Are you using it with the controller through the cable ? Or just using the phone app ?

Google Pixel 2 XL, working perfectly. The only issue is the squeeze edge is kind of triggered by fitting it inside the controller, but other than that It's all fine.

@Hawkeye Alaska Woah. How's flying in very low temps ? I've read that it isn't too good for the battery.

It did behave like a short yeah. I know about the usb pd handshake and all that. What I was trying to say is that I tried various possible power sources and cables, and got the same result.
