Just wondering if anyone has tried flying their Anafi with one of the latest Macbooks. Asking first might save me the trouble of trying.

    Should I get an Anafi??

Here speaketh a wise man, pay heed.* * - That's 'pay attention' for those not familiar with Ulster-Scots terminology!

Just got an Anafi and it's awesome. Few questions.

Well firstly, I wouldn't worry, save the worry for life's properly important things. :) However, if it's supposed to be a brand new drone then I'd return it as it plainly isn't. If it's a refurb then presumably the label has been broken to allow access at some point and is probably understandable.

My first experience with Parrot Anafi - a complete disaster!

Hi Eric. Your drone is not just a toy, it is a remarkably sophisticated little bundle of technology and well capable of doing things which people of my age (58) grew up thinking would never be possible. With respect, it appears that either you have not read the manual at all, or not in enough...

    Flying over water.

So it seems then to be very much a case of 'steady as she goes' which given that I'll only be doing it to survey a banking will be a necessity anyway, so we should be OK. Thanks for the replies. DaveW - I imagine with the camera pointing downwards you had some pretty epic film with the high...

    Flying over water.

So it says in the manual that you're not supposed to do it, but how literally do you take that and what can you do or not do in practical terms? Why I ask is that one of the reasons I got a drone is that our farm is bounded on one side by a pretty deep river with the bank undercut in a few...

Down the Line, what improvements do you wish to see with the Anafi assuming we get a sequel to it?

I just don't like using leads, plug in/plug out, having them hanging about, just gives me an air of 'making do' rather than 'proper job'. Don't get me wrong, I can do 'making do' when and if I have to, but I just don't think it's 'factory', and certainly not how permanent should be. So I'd like...

Yes, I'd also go for the controller with built in display as per Autel Evo. I really like the idea of just controller and drone to carry, get airborne, and take shots or footage, no connecting up and one less item to carry. That plus micro SD card slot externally

I have to admit, if I lived in the US as you do I'd very possibly have an 'EVO', but just didn't want to risk it in the UK with no official backup. As someone who doesn't use an android phone (or iphone) the built-in screen on the controller was a massive attraction. But again, I'd have had to...

Thank you. Firstly, I posted in the 'Anafi' section consciously as I thought my process of Anafi selection and purchase may be more relevant there. Secondly, although I've just posted, I've been registered for a couple of months and have indeed made much use of the search button already! It is...

Good morning one and all. Posting for several reasons. Firstly, it is indeed true that people generally post when they have a problem which can give a somewhat negative impression of venturing in to the world of drone ownership. So I though it appropriate for once to post and say that I...
