ALIENTECH Bracket

Yes the bracket allows you to use after market antennas. I like the bracket for the way it attaches to the controller allowing you to put the controller back to stock if you need to for warranty. I don't like the antenna connectors being snap on. Not many after market antennas with this feature. Most just screw on.

I almost ordered that bracket, nicely made.

Like Agustine, don’t care for the snap connectors. They eventually have poor connection and signal will be lost momentarily creating disconnect, threaded connectors are best.

With regards to the connectors, those are bnc RF connectors with an upper frequency limit of close to 4GHz. This would mean that if you use 5.8GHz for the benefits of a larger bandwidth and greater fidelity in the downlink you would also experience a significant loss/attenuation in the link between the controller and the drone.
