Anafi Blue Sensor Location (in front of fan)

I have to chnage my tracking devices since most of the GSM networks are gone. As a result I may need to move attachment point.
DOes anyone know what the small blue light in front of fan does? I have covered it in test nothing happened however, being that it is exsposed I have concerns.

It does nothing. Its just a LED light.
