Anyone had any luck using a Samsung Note 4 with Freeflight 6 full ?

The Note 4´s last OS update is 6.0.1, and to use the Freeflight 6 app´s full capabilites (like the new functions and camera modes) you need to have at least Android 7.0 installed. It is possible to install Android 7 on a Note 4, but the phone needs to be rooted. Has anyone in here done this with success?
