There are 2 controllers, the first one the sky controller 2 is for closer range I got about 1 mile with it.
The second one is the sky controller 1 Black edition which has a better antenna then the regular sky controller 1 I got about three miles with the long-range one it also has sun shades which is great for sunny days.
The kit also has fpv goggles for when you want to see what the drone sees first person, it is more immersive than just flying it with a phone.
Everything is $300 USD including both controllers.
I just moved to a city and I didn't want to fly around people.
