Broken Anafi

Hi, I have a broken Anafi but the camera seems to be ok. When I turn it on the gimbal seems to be calibrating itself and after that when I move the drone the camera stays focused at the correct spot.
I want to be able to use the drone as a camera ( I know its not the best but I got the drone for free ). Is there anyway to access just the camera and take pictures and/or start recording video?
I tried pairing it to the controller and it didn't seem to work ( or I did something wrong ).

Any help / advice is greatly appreciated.

From what I know, you need to pair it to the controller or your phone to take pictures. If your drone is in video mode it will automatically start recording video when it takes off. I'm not sure if you can get it to take pictures or video when it is not in flight mode.
