has anyone kept some old version history of the freeflight APK ? I have created the latest version as an apk, from a galaxy A53, running the same exact android 13 version than the A12, but play store and Parrot refuses to let freeflight function on the A12, only on the A53.
Google says freeflight is too old and lack security to be installed on the A12, but my A53 has the same exact android version and it works.
Currently trying to boot a very old phone to see if freeflight would work there. but wondering if anyone has some older apk versions of freeflight, to hopefully make the anafi drones die later rather than sooner.

must be a Google/Samsung thing.....I just downloaded and installed FF6 from Play Store onto my Redmi Note 13 Pro 5G running Android 14 (Harmony OS).... with no hassles all

Yes it's really weird as it says the app is too old and thus unsecure, but it downloads fine on a more recent phone than the A12, that's just as old as the final version of freeflight that's from 2021.

And yea I didn't sideload it via softronic because of the fear a russian hacker would backdoor into my dad's A12 phone haha, but I sideloaded it from the app I downloaded and packed into a apk file on my A53, with the "file manager plus" app (doing a backup of freeflight and sharing the apk.)
But yea still somehow the app refuses to work and says it requires internet even if it has it.

amazing that's exactly what I was hoping for, a repository of FF6 apk versions.
I actually managed to make it work by powering on an old samsung J6 phone, and the FF6 app just worked perfectly !
But will try to get these modded apk on the A12 as a backup, and better FPV screen.

The purpose of the mod is to have the better connection tech (FCC) is that it ? will do some research.

Just food for thought, I have and HTC Android phone running 4.4.2. I was getting that sync error ,no internet. This same app runs fine on my tablet running 7.0. I was able to get it running by copying the files from the tablet over to the phone. the Data and OBB directories specifically. Now I can use finally use my FPV goggles. got backups of everything since all is old hard to find.
Probably need to get updated drone soon.

The purpose of the mod is to activate FCC or CE if it is not in your country. Plus to display the actual Millivolts (mV) of the battery together with the percentage (%) squeezed in the same box in the application. Much more useful to monitor when flying the Anafi with its problematic batteries.
