I did the cable mod so I could balance charge using my SkyRC charger. Bought 4 cables for about $12 and 10 T-60 plug sets for $4.00 (in Philippines).
All the vids show using existing wires but since I'm not that great at soldering I modified the battery end plug so I could get at the flat leads themselves. Removed locking tabs with razor, cut housing down and removed interior stop after using multimeter to determine the correct leads to use. The one in the pic still has the interior stops
Used "speaker wire" - I'll use lighter gauge wire for the next 3 - Soldered and tested with multimeter. Have discharged and balance charged 3 so far, one lasted only 2 minutes - now get 7 - not great but usable in controller.
