I had a motor issue with broken windings, apparently a flaw in the design of the motor. So I followed this solution with further improvement by me, below. Replacement motor for Parrot Disco FPV Flying Wing | Rapid Control Prototyping

I was able to remove the rotor magnet body from the Surpass motor, the grub screw on the shaft, and some twisting effort, and the Parrot rotor magnet body fitted on exactly the same but with a little play on the inner end of the shaft, resolved with the addition of extra washers. This meant that I did not have to adapt the protruding lump on the Surpass rotor body and retap it for the set screws to fit the blade mount onto it. I recognized that the Surpass rotor was much better made and balanced, and intend in time adapt one to hold the Parrot blade mounting (hopefully a 4 blade one).
