Interestingly, I have an app on my mobile for another drone & it shows you how many satellites that your mobile-phone is locked onto. I don't fly with under 13 satellites locked on.
Also interestingly, I had 15 satellites locked on when standing in the centre of the park yesterday with the trees about 30 metres either side of me. So I am thinking the persons comment above about needing a 180 degree section of sky above you is not quite correct, based on having that many satellites locked on when there was only about 90 degrees of sky open above me there.
