I have the white goggles that came with my Bebop 2 drone. When I insert my cellphone and watch through the goggles while in flight, what I’m seeing looks pixiated. / not clear. Would that be from the poor resolution from the cheap cellphone screen, or is that the best the goggles can do ?
I wondering if I got a cellphone with a higher resolution screen, if that would make a difference. Thanks

What resolution are you streaming the video from the drone?

480p can look pretty blocky and pixelated (but gives the best response, I found) whilst the higher resolution option looks better but has a bigger latency / lag.

Also, what resolution is your phone's screen? A low-res screen will have the same effect.

Thanks for replying. The phone was bought in 2018 and is a LG Tribute Dynasty SP 200. The resolution is supposed to be 720 x 1280 , so maybe the problem is the goggles themself. I'm wondering if I got a phone with higher resolution that it wouldn't make any difference, and maybe with inferior performance, like you mentioned. The cell phone also would have to be an older one ( 5 years or so ) because I'm told the newer phones aren't compatible with the Free Flight Pro app that the Bebop 2 needs to connect with.
