Ipad mini, and GPS, RTH

Just started flying my new Anafi, using my ipad mini. Ipad has no cell function or GPS. Will the RTH function work properly with this combo?

Yes, the GPS Position for the Anafi- RTH will be the GPS FIX of the Anafi (HP)
You just can't do the flight modes, that need the Controllers GPS data, which are in fact the devices GPS data!

I believe the iPad mini, despite not having cell, still does have GPS. Load up Maps and you will see

I can confirm my iPad mini 4 (WiFi version, no cell option), does not have a GPS (that is a part of the cell option).
I use an external Bluetooth GPS (Garmin GLO) with my Anafi when I fly with the iPad

Afaik, Apple decided not to put GPS in Wifi only Pads
Think about, you could navigate but Apple would not get any information out of it!

Sorry team .... You are of course correct. The old grey cells were getting confused between my Huawei M5 8.4" and the iPad
