The anafi used to lose connection on auto wifi in the past firmwares but now with the most recent firmware I have been using auto tab with zero problems. But I have heard that the video connection is  better on manual wifi vs auto wifi selection. Also on auto mode, it may switch channels but never have I seen it switching bands. We still cant switch channels or bands in mid air if interference is detected.
