Near loss of anafi (and near heart attack)

Having never crashed my anafi, I was testing out the phone-anafi link and the follow me feature. I took off with gps and a home point.
I have the anafi at 45m so that it would not go into any trees and I went on my bike through an abandoned industrial area. It lost the signal so I looked around to see what was up, and I saw the anafi landing at high speed.
It would surely land on a fence roof or tree so on the screenrecording i hear myself cursing the drone gods for having forsaken me.
I immediately biked to the landing zone and there it was, hovering between a wall and 3 fences in a tight area

I wonder what caused the loss of signal?

There were trees between me and the anafi and the phone-anafi connection is 30 times weaker than the skycontroller-anafi anyway.

it makes sense that it would not return to home, for example if you are walking andit loses signal after 15 minutes flight; the anafi can make it back to the home point in a few minutes but the pilot (unless Hussein bolt) cannot
