opening a closed flightpath

If I open a closed flight path it gives me a dangling path leg. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?

When I get an unwanted leg on the flightpath it is usually because I “fat fingered” the screen. When this happens I long-press the extraneous node, and am given the option to delete it.

This dangling path doesn't have a node at the end, so there's nothing to long-press.

Can you describe exactly what you did to cause the problem and post a screen print of the flightplan.
If you could also attach the savedPlan.json file of the flightplan it would be useful. If you are using an Android device then it should be in a top level directory called "FreeFlight6/Flightplan"

I didn't save the flight plan because of the dangling end. I just created a closed path of about 6 nodes then opened it by long-pressing the screen and selecting open.

I have just tried creating a Flightplan, closing it and opening the points many times and I cannot get a "dangling end".
