Question about the blue light on the underside

What is the purpose of the blue (flashing) light on the underside of the Anafi during flight ? I've looked in the manual, but can't see any obvious reference to it, and there are no pictures of the underside of the drone in the manual

Is it for visibility ? Or some other reason ?

I think it's for visibility.

It can't be too important if Parrot doesn't bother mentioning it's purpose. In all seriousness, I agree with CraigCam that it most likely shows power and connection status.

It definitely says you have power.It doesn't necessarily mean you are connected.Too many instances of no connection established and yet it is lit up.With no reply or fix from DJI.oooops,I mean Parrot...

Anafi not Initiating after switching on?

No, it goes solid blue during boot up which you need to see for connection. It blinks after is done that for flight as obviously there are no other lights for VLOS.
Connection confirmation is handled by the app and the status light on the controller.
