Safety Bulletin For Props

Good info, but for me...I have yet to have an ANAFI make it to 100 flights. My best Anafi I had accumulated a mere 75 flights before disappearing. All the others of nine all had less than 50 flights before they either disappeared or Parrot requested them back for issues. I currently have four all with less than 50 flights. One is a new one #395XX, the three others are refurbs from Parrot numbers in the #08XXX range.

Hope for the best...plan for the worse.

I bought a year ago my Anafi and changed once the props, because there were small cracks on it. Very light props. No problem. I ordered new props again.

I haven't had any issues yet but propeller inspection should be part of the pre-flight/post-flight check.

the props are not cheap... The document is not clear. The "specialist" never knew if the props were from parrot or a knockoff brand.

I received a set where the props did not move freely. Instead they were fixed due to the screw, so no free movement. Ditched those although they looked ok. Didn't dare to test with those sticky ones.

In the manual I believe it says to change ALL props after a crash even with no visible damage. Is this true, or excessive?

I had the same doubts 2000 - after the repair this weekend I replaced only the props of the arm that broke. After doing this I had doubts. The manual says indeed to replace them all. So I decided to replace em all after 43 flights. A set costs about 20 bucks but may make a difference at certain moments. When flying above open water I wanna be sure they do not fail (also on other occasions ;-). So to me it's a no-brainer...but it will be a choice to every single one of us what to do.
