Skycontroller 3 and bigger phone

In this day and age of (allegedly working) 5G speeds and bigger phones, I'm thinking of upgrading my handset to something too big to fit into the Skycontroller 3.

(1) Do I really need to use the Skycontroller 3? Does it add anything that a direct phone/Anafi connection doesn't have, e.g. better and longer wifi signal than the mobile phone?

(2) Which is the simplest to attach/detach, safest and most compact tablet holder?

Regarding number 1:
Yes you need the SkyController. It offers much better range (2 or 3km versus 200 or 300 meters without). Also, it is much easier to fly with the SkyController.

Regarding number 2:
I use the official Parrot Tablet adapter. I don’t love it. The problem is that the only way to turn off the SkyController is to close it, but the tablet adapter prevents you from closing it and it’s a hassle to remove the tablet adapter.
