Third party Anafi batteries - do they work or does the "smart battery" system prevent that?

Hi all, just curious if about third party Anafi batteries - do they work or does the "smart battery" system prevent that? I understand DJI drones won't start without a DJI OEM battery and was wondering if that was the case with parrot.

Just to correct, DJI Drones can start with 3rd party batteries. There are many users out there already running on non DJI.

thanks for that correction! i had thought the intelligent part of the battery prevented that.. good to know

You can actually tell the drone you are using a none DJI battery, which is why many of the guys have these crazy ceiling videos where they are cloud surfing Its always a risk, but hey.... so is using a drone full stop.... How many did we lose when Parrot shafted us on the firmware upgrades after 1.6.3 ??
