Transmitter not turning off

When I shut my transmitter down the blue light continued pulsing slowly, so it was obviously still on.
I have tried opening and shutting the antenna/phone mount a few times, but to no avail.
Has anyone else had this problem and how is it resolved?

It sounds like the switch has failed. To turn it off and avoid flattening the battery you could open the controller using the Torx driver for the propellers and disconnect the internal battery plug.

You could then test the switch with a multimeter to see whether it is working correctly. If my memory serves me right the switch should be open circuit when the controller arm is raised and closed circuit when it is shut. It is the opposite to what you would think. If the switch is faulty then you could solder in an external switch. If you search this forum you should find some guidance.
