What is it ?

Do you have any Poplar Trees where you live?
The poplar species native to North America are divided into three loose groups: the cottonwoods, the aspens, and the balsam poplars.

We have plenty here and when they go to seed they give off cotton fluffs that float all over the place. Perhaps you have some kind of tree like that in your area.

Thank you guys for your answers,
I had heard of "flying rafts" weaving spiders to change places, but, I doubted in this case that the son are of animal origin (too thick).
Also read that trees produce these filaments, but never seen nor caught in flight either ...
We should have these cottonwoods here, I think that's it.
Thank you and see you soon.

Cottonwood fluff is easy to distinguish as you can see the tiny black seeds if you look closely. We have millions of them here but I've never seen any globs of their seeds stuck to the Anafi. They sure as hell get into the hot tub though!
