Hi I'm just wondering whether anyone may be able to assist, I am wanting to try and find a suitable map to import to freeflight 6 as sometimes I'd rather fly without having to keep data turned on. The map I'm looking for is for the uk (north east) Thanks Carl

Have you tried restarting the Anafi? You may find it returns to CE channels again.

Parrot should have used a better system in the first place, something along the lines of lightbridge or occusync. Hubsan uses a similar system called leas that's how they can get significantly better range and Xiaomi must use something similar with x8se having such good range.

They'll have more to worry about when an Anafi falls from the sky, strikes someone on the head and causes serious injury than they would from someone flying at an increased power output. It not even as though parrot are releasing software that allows you to access FCC channels in a CE country...

Makes me wonder whether some remnants of previous versions are left on the Anafi and sometimes clash with new versions. I wonder whether when freeflight 6 does a firmware update on the Anafi whether it actually completely wipes the previous version and every thing associated with it before...

Wasn't 1.6.5 the version where peoples Anafi's have been falling from the sky?

I think thats why they probably released the actual beta, as they probably didn't want to send out the release notes as they probably knew the majority of the things they had fixed probably actually hadn't been properly fixed and they'd get a load of grief for it.

I've given up on the search to achieve FCC channels. I have a feeling parrot are putting more work into trying stop people accessing FCC channels in a CE country than they are fixing other more pressing issues such as Anafi's falling from the sky.

Well maybes it is related to your particular tablet then ? I thought only the really early iPads had no gps but I must confess I don't know a great deal about iPads.

I thought you were using your shield anyway? Why did you change to the iPad?
