    OK then, you're seeing a rectangular frame that is stabilized and processed from a wide angle fish eye lens. When you point the camera down, the image processor is working with the top of the fish eye image and so you're seeing a black border which is the limit of the lens. It's normal.

    It's not free but Fisheye Hemi is a photoshop plug-in that does a great job de-fishing Bebop stills.

    A picture would illuminate the problem but I'm guessing you're seeing the props. The de-fishing makes them look like video artifacts.
