I was using an older FW. It was working great all along with good range and stable flight so... if it ain’t broken don’t fix it :) not worth trying to clean it. Salt water and electronics don’t mix well especially when energized splashing

I never shoot in 4K, files are too big, hardware issues etc. always 1080 which is fine and easier to manage. Frankly unless you need professional grade video to play on real high end hardware, 4K is not needed

Not sure why anyone would want to launch a drone in high winds to just circle around trees... From the video it looks like you were holding the drone with your fingers instead of having it resting on your open palm. I also believe it needs more upward motion.

Still. I would never relinquish control to a piece of software that close to obstacle. Personally i never use any of these so called smart modes. You can get the same footage manually flying the thing

Let me get this right. You had the drone 10 to 15’ from a tree, you walked toward it and are surprised it backed into the tree? Even if you didn’t walk straight towards the drone, 10 to 15’ from an obstacle is close especially with a drone that doesn’t have any sensors like Mavic

It s a real shame SP didn’t put a good gimbal on the Spry because it s a nice drone. Very solid and heavy feel. While range is a little shorter than Anafi, I really like control with built in screen. Simple. But the lack of stabilized video makes it near useless.

I’m curious to know how the video from the SD3 compares to Anafi especially the stabilization. I mostly use drones from a boat and would prefer a waterproof drone... so far so good with Anafi but it s only a matter of time :( I have a SwellPro Spry which is very good for still pictures but...

I always start heading home around 30%, sometimes a little before if the drone is really far. I ve never landed under 20%. I don’t trust trust fuel gauges in airplanes or boats, don’t going to start trusting them in a drone :)

I don’t know why parrot used that flimsy card holder but it’s not worth messing with... if you re being careful opening it, it s fine. I love the card holder on SwellPro Spry though ...

I always grab and flip so every flight ends as a crash...

I have never used a Mavic 2 but have used a first gen Mavic. While indeed the Anafi is less visible in flight, I don’t think the difference is big enough to warrant purchase. If you fly in a setting where people would react negatively, it s not going to make a difference.
