Hi everyone,
I’m currently trying to connect my Parrot Anafi Ai to my laptop using Olympe on Ubuntu 22.04, but I’m running into some issues. According to ChatGPT, when connecting the Anafi Ai to a laptop, it’s not enough to just connect to the drone’s Wi-Fi — it also requires a firmware image (anafi_ai-pc.ext2.zip).
I’m using the testtakeoff.py example from the official Parrot website, and I only modified the drone IP address to match the IPv4 address detected by my laptop. However, the Python script doesn’t seem to work, and I can’t get the drone to respond.
So far, I’ve checked:
If anyone has experience or insights related to Olympe or Anafi Ai, I would really appreciate your advice or any tips you can share. Thanks a lot!

So far, I’ve checked:
- The Wi-Fi connection between the laptop and the drone
- The drone IP address (1xx.xxx.xx.x)
- Running the script both with and without the firmware argument
