Anafi App Question

Does the Anafi app require any sort of initial internet connection for every launch of the drone? Can the app be loaded onto a wifi tablet and kept that version forever? Thanks

You need an internet connection for loading maps; updating the firmware of drone, Skycontroller and battery; In-app purchases; and for connecting to the My.Parrot account with uploading flight data to the Parrot cloud.
But all of these tasks can be done with Anafi grounded.
For normal flights you should switch flight mode of your smartphone on.

I would not keep a certain version of Freeflight 6, because updates normally fix problems and give you new features.

If you like you can fly with just the controller (or worst case just a tablet though not very sensitive with later)

No,you dont need internet for every take off....you need to occasionally connect phone/tablet to internet
to check for updates...we get updates once every 1-2 months
