Anafi FPV AR Solution

After seeing Anarky's YouTube video of its Halolens-DJI AR drone flying, I've been trying to figure out how to connect an augmented reality (AR) google to my Anafi SkyController 3 to get a FPV AR perspective. I have seen a # of DJI solutions and I was thinking I would have to do a little Python coding to get one of the DJI solutions to work with my Anafi. Last month, I test drove an Apple Vision Pro Goggle and on a hunch I "Screen Share" my iPhone's FreeFlight 6 display into the goggle's AR view (see below). That was perfect, but at $3K the Vision Pros are a bit pricey. Besides the goggle's outside view was less than ideal, since it was via a goggle embedded camera. It did get me to rethink how to do this.



Well I found the answer in this Turn ANY Drone into FPV with This AR Glasses! YouTube. It involves having the SkyController iOS display "screen mirror" its FreeFlight 6 display to a XReal Bean device to display in the AR view of its connected set of XReal Air2 Pro AR goggles. The Bean display settings let me reduce the iOS display by 75% and place it in a corner of the AR viewing area. This lets me watch my Anafi in flight while being able to glance over to see what the drone camera view is and the related drone telemetry is. Solution found for the costa set AR look down goggles. sweet!
