Hi all,
Thought i would share my findings which may help someone from searching the web for hours, like i did, to work out how to get overlay data in videos from an Anafi Thermal.
The process is similar to that of a normal Anafi except you need to change the "product id" in the .json file to trick Flightdata manager into thinking its from an Anafi.
Ive Emailed the developer but i found this work around until i get a reply.
Heres what i did:
- Followed the same steps as for a normal Anafi except when i got the importing the data in flightdata manager.
- downloaded the .json file from Parrot Cloud for the flight and opened it in a text editor like notepad.
- search for "product_id". It should read "product_id":2329. Change the value to 2324 so it reads "product_id":2324 and save it.
- then in flightdata manager you click "Import data from JSON file", select the file you just modified and it should come up with a graph of your flight.
- then you and export it from flightdata manager and import the .FIT file into VIRB EDIT as you would for an Anafi.
Hope this helps.
