Anafi USA for the Royal Air Force

As part of Force Protection Experimentation (FPX), the RAF Force Protection (FP) Centre has recently taken delivery of the Parrot Anafi USA, a Remotely Piloted Air System (RPAS). As one of the first units within Defence to take delivery of this latest system. It offers one potential solution to RAF FP expeditionary Intelligence, Surveillance and Reconnaissance (ISR) requirements. Lightweight and compact, the Parrot Anafi is capable of being launched by patrols in under one minute and offers increased situational awareness to FP personnel.

because it is not the military version, that one has an external antenna

So what do you think is going on in the picture? They are testing out a nonmilitary version? Sort of like a demo unit? Did the military not buy the military version (Makes no sense).
The picture is just a phot op with a prop?

The military and police for years is using the same anafi as regular consumers. It’s possible they don’t need the additional features which the militairy version provides in case of the anafi USA.

I just asked someone who knows about these things and he tells me there are three to choose from

Anafi USA - Skycontrolller 3
Anafi USA GOV - Skycontroller USA ( Tablet)
ANAFI USA MIL - Skycontroller USA + 1.8 Ghz microhard

The milspecs (military specs ) should include hardened electronics that are resistant to electronic tampering , microwave bursts , or emp signals.
And a hardened comm protocol..
DJI has a better implementation protocol than regular WiFi, called Occusync 3.0 for us the average consumers.

Besides, the Mil. must be paying $$$$$. .

ps , I read the MIL specs and dont see the required counter-electronic measures, though an extra 1.8ghx antenna is visible for communications.
I’m not sure that the drone would survive a series of intense Microwave bursts unharmed. Or it isnt disclosed om that document.

Remember DJI cannot be used by the US military. Two DJI government versions have just received limited permission to operate but none of the standard commercial ones.

the US militaire only kills people in third world countries: they do not have access to EMP or whatever the use in the latest Call of Duty
