I was always under the impression that the Anafi battery terminals were always live (or "Hot" as our American cousins say). I thought that I would see what the storage voltage was on one of my batteries that had been in hibernation mode for about a month. I was surprised when I could not measure any voltage at the battery terminals. I was so surprised that I even used another multimeter to check but it also read zero volts. I then put the battery on charge on a 1 amp USB mains charger and immediately the charging leds started flashing I disconnected the charger and measured the voltage. This time I got a figure of 7.64v on one meter and 7.58v on the other (cheaper) meter. I can only assume that the Anafi battery is not connected directly to the output terminals but that it must go through a mosfet, or similar device, that disconnects the battery from the terminals in hibernation mode. Can anybody else confirm that in hibernation mode the battery terminals are dead?
