Can the Anafi Thermal spot a bad string or cell on a solar panel?

I have always wondered this question as to whether the low resolution Lepton 3.5 sensor could spot a bad cell on a solar panel.

Thinking out loud I though that yes, if it was low enough the size of a solar panel cell would be large enough that the Lepton could have 3+ pixels filled by the solar panel cell.

Here is an image of the Anafi Thermal proving that yes, at low altitude over the panels it can easily spot bad cells and strings of cells. I could not find a bad bypass diode but I think at the same 15 feet above panel altitude, it would also spot them. But I do not think it could spot small anomalies in a cell.
