Pulled my bepop 2 out of the closet. Went to go use it. Connected to it with my phone as I lost controller that came with it.
Got it connected and flying. Took it high enough to go over some tall trees. Sent it down a field and eventually it lost contact with my phone. It returned automatically.
It wasn't that far away considering it should make it 2km or more. What do I do to fix this? Read the manual again and this problem isn't very clear regarding troubleshooting.
In connecting my phone to the drone I get a pop up telling me:
Internet may not be available. It then gives me an option to connect one time, all the time or not connect at all. Not sure if this is related to the small distances the drone is flying.
