What if you make a long distance flight plan and your bebop 2 looses the signal from the skycontroller 2, it will resume the flight plan and return safely home, or get itself hovering and getting lost?

It will complete the flight plan and return home. Before you start, make sure you have enough battery power to complete the flight plan and return home.
Remember, flight rules dictate you must have line of site of your Bebop 2 throughout the flight plan.
