Hi!

I crashed the Anafi and replaced the engines. Everything is working well, but the gimbal doesn't. I have image from the camera. Is it possible something is not well connected?
Is it possible, because of the crash, something inside the gimbal is not correctly connected?

Thank you!

Yes it is possible that one of the cables coming from the camera is not seated right. It really does not take much for them to become lose and not make the proper connection.

Many thanks!
I will try to fix it and keep posted. Thanks for the help!

I had one that spent the winter up in a tree. When I finally recovered it the gimbal would not work. After taking the cover off and playing with the connections the gimbal started working but I then lost video. It took a few more tries and I finally got both to work just by slightly adjusting the connections
Good Luck and welcome to the forum.

I'm trying to recover the gimbal but I wasn't successful till now.

Question: there is a blue pad inside the gimbal. When I opened they case it was loose. What is this for? Don't know what it does. Is there any tutorial with good pictures so I can check if I'm doing everything correctly?

Thank you.

Blue foam - a thermal pad, to connect the PCB to the black heatsink on the camera case, transfer heat from the camera circuit to the outside world!

Despite the attempts, can't make the gimbal work. Maybe one of the cables is not in good condition. Is there any chance to find these kind of parts somewhere else?

Is it possibly still under warranty? I don't believe I've seen a lot of success stories involving Anafi gimbal DIY repairs, but someone may have good suggestions for you here.... be patient.
