Skycontroller 2 battery

I just purchased a Beboop 2 with a skycontroller 2 (silver sticks) used. The skycontroller 2 battery is dying. It’s the 7.4v rectangle battery. I’m having a hard time find a replacement. Any suggestions?

I used a normal lipo with a low C rate, I cut the blue also leaving only the red and black, I think this video will give you a hint.

i use only hobby grate charger to charge my batteries

What size wires does the battery have. I would worry about heat connecting a battery with 14/12 ga wire to the teany leads of the Skycontroller. It has been a long hunt and I have some batteries and I am tempted to give the above process a try.

14awg are rated to 20 amps for 30cm (or 1 foot ) so don’t worry about it. Controllers normally use less 0.5 to 1C so all AWG under 20 are good if you keep the length short.
i charge my battery with 0.5C with 22 AWG without problems
