Weird ND Filter thing

I always put my Freewell filters in place before gimbal initialization, because I don't believe, that "Anafi knows not to fight a gimbal obstruction".
Where does this information come from?

Common sense. If there is an obstruction it reports it and doesn't just try a bit harder until it breaks itself because to do otherwise would be absurd in the extreme.

For example : it's enough if I leave the lens security plastic on the lens:
During initialising the Gimbal check runs failed. A ND filter have a bigger weight as the plastic.
In my case, there is no possibility to run the initializing with any add part.

My experience is, that the gimbal motors endeed try to hold their intended position, if I touch and hold the gimbal and therefore partly act against me. That could mean mechanical stress to these motors. The force of these motors is so low, that they cannot break anything, and they are the weakest part of the drone.
So I am very careful at this point.
