What is this 'V' symbol in the lower left corner do?

What is this 'V' symbol in the lower left corner do? I press it and it switches to 'S'. The screenshots in the User Manual do not seem to match my Android screens.

V is for video mode, the drone operates slower, S is for speed

I was slightly mistaken, S means sport mode, same thing
