Will SC3 auto shut off?

Will the SC3 automatically shut itself off after a period of no connection?
I'd really like to leave my device attached during the 10 or 15 minutes between flights, without the device being on.

That’s handy and I could have used that yesterday instead of trying to charge via car lighter while it’s on which just keeps you at whatever percent you have.

I have printed a couple and they work quite well but I would prefer some kind of locking mechanism to keep it in place rather than friction. I may look at designing one myself if I ever get the time.
