I know this is an old thread, but this is the first time I have tried Pix4DCapture. It connects with my Anafi but it won't fly it. I can manually hover by taking off and the Pix4D app says it's hovering, but I can't start the flight path either from the ground or from hover. I get this screen...

The recent software seems stable - it appears to have been a bad release earlier this year that was causing the problems. My guess is you have a hardware problem. Engage with Parrot support and send them the flight files.

I found that Meshroom recognised the ANAFI camera and seems to have the calibration file in its database. I made this spreadsheet which helped me plan my flightpaths. Hopefully people will find it useful.

I didn't save the flight plan because of the dangling end. I just created a closed path of about 6 nodes then opened it by long-pressing the screen and selecting open.

This dangling path doesn't have a node at the end, so there's nothing to long-press.

If I open a closed flight path it gives me a dangling path leg. Has anyone else experienced this or found a fix?

I don't think your angle calculations are correct. It looks like you've divided the horizontal angle by the image aspect ratio. Angles aren't proportional to projected sizes. I calculated the angles are: 84 x 68.1 75.5 x 60.3 beta = 2 x atan (3/4 tan alpha/2)

No I haven't tried that. I didn't know that was a thing. Do you mean the large USB port on the controller? I assume the small one is just for charging. If the drone is plugged into the large USB then I can't update the firmware unless it magically restores WiFi and I can connect direct to my phone.

I don't know if you've got the wrong end of the stick. I think if you deleted any reference to your home WiFi it would avoid any confusion because you're right the phone or controller connect to the WiFi on the drone directly. The firmware update gets onto the phone via a WiFi with internet, but...

You can update direct from the phone or via the controller. If the drone WiFi isn't working then neither route will work.
