Anafi USA WiFi 'on button'

Anyone know how to turn on WiFi on a new Analfi USA?

I can link the Controller via usb cable to the drone only. But don't have a kilometre of usb c cable, so it's going to need WiFi.
When I Disconnect the ISB C cable from the drone it loses connection as there is no WiFi showing.
I have already reloaded, reset, done it three times etc etc. an attempted (many times) hard reset of drone only produces one red light, I got bored after holding the power button for 6 minutes so figured it doesn't want to or can't do a reset.
It's simply not transmitting a WiFi signal. I've got three phones, two tablets and a PC looking for a signal but nothing.

Mine was already active, but did have a play when updating and installing new apps.
Open the tablet’s settings app and go to connections You can access from there.

If you are in free flight, swipe up screen and the android touch screen controls should appear. The 3 vertical line button should show u all open apps and a list of recent which for me included the settings app (greyish blue cog). You might also be able to swipe down from middle top to access the notification drop down, but for me that doesn’t always work when free flight is open.

Edit: if u think your wifi module might be wonky you could use the network tab in free flight settings to see if you can see wifi signals.
Also note that my USA came with bog standard freeflight 6 installed. I had to delete and install freeflight 6 USA before I could get aircraft to Connect. The manual is confusing as they did a find and replace for the whole doc removing reference to freeflight 6 app replacement.
