St. Joseph's Church built on the site of the The original basilica in 1803, and was the first non-mission parish built in California for the benefit of Spanish settlers instead of the Ohlone native Americans. Current Cathedral was built in 1877 and was completely restored in 1981.

Sidd, how do you do this, you just show up and start flying around church or do you get permission from church to do it,do you get approved ffa permission,do you buy insurance...etc.......just curious

Since it is a hobby drone my understanding is that no FAA approval is required. I also rarely fly higher than 50 feet. I only fly when there is nobody around and I stay off the property. I also do not fly for long extended periods. Maybe 10 minutes max.

Hi Sidd, reason i asked is because of all buildings around church, usually there is always some kind of restriction when you fly in or near big city.....so i checked Kittyhawk app and you are lucky you didnt get caught.....not trying to look like smartass just trying to help ??....i recommend you download Kittyhawk app,faa aproved.....you can check locations where you want to fly,it gives you instant faa aproval,in case you get stopped, you can cover your a.ss,also ot tells you altitude limit in area you want to fly
here is few pictures, you can see you flew in red zone and you can see altitude limit.....?
