I have a hand-me-down drone from a friend where it had been lying unused for years. I had actually flown it many times when he originally bought it. The batteries were long dead. I got a couple of replacement batteries from Walmart. (I think they were this one: Robot or human?)
I charged them in the original charger many times. When I put them into the drone, the phone app shows that the charge is 100%. Trying to take off, the drone goes up a couple of feet only. It hovers for circa 30 seconds then autolands. My phone app give a low battery alarm and charge is shown as 0%.
I don't think both batteries would be bad (or could they?) so suspect there's something in the drone. Any ideas what it could be?
